Access to Disneyland Paris

Before you head off to Disneyland Paris, you’ll need to know where this extraordinary resort is located. Disneyland Paris is located in the commune of Chessy (Seine-et-Marne), thirty-two kilometers east of Paris. To get there, you have several transport options. You can get there by car, taking the A4 freeway, exit 14 Marne-la-Vallée; by train, Marne-la-Vallée station being served by TGV high-speed trains linking many French cities; by RER, Marne-la-Vallée RER station being served by the RER A ; by bus, as the Marne-la-Vallée bus station is also served by a large number of buses from many French cities; and finally by plane, to Paris-Charles-de-Gaulle and Orly airports, then by shuttle bus to Disneyland Paris.

Once you’ve arrived at the right place – in this case, the right theme park! – all you have to do is step through the gates of this magical place to discover the sixty or so attractions spread across the 2 Disneyland and Walt Disney Studios parks.

Big Thunder Mountain

The best-known attraction at Disneyland Paris, this crazy train takes you along the tracks of an old Thunder Mesa mine. We’d advise you to get there as soon as possible, as it’s already quite full by early morning!

Ratatouille

A superb attraction, based on the Disney Pixar animated film, during which visitors find themselves in the shoes – and, more importantly, at the waist – of Remy, the film’s rat-hero! You’ll be dazzled by the 3D effects on this “dark ride” through Chez Gusto’s kitchen.

Crush’s Coaster

The Toon Studio at Walt Disney Studios is the place to be for this attraction based on the World of Nemo. You’ll find yourself in a 4-person turtle shell during this thrill ride (not recommended for pregnant women).

Tower of Terror

Also at Walt Disney Studios, the Hollywood Tower Hotel takes you back to the 1930s. This attraction retells the mysterious story of the disappearance of five people in a Halloween accident. Adrenalin guaranteed as you tumble 13 floors in a shaky elevator!

Phantom Manor

Finally, it’s impossible not to take you to a haunted house! This unusual mansion stands opposite the Big Thunder Mountain mine. It is said to have belonged to the Ravenswood family, who ran the mine. Now all that’s left to greet you is the ghost of the Ravenswood girl… and maybe some other strange things too.

Christmas and New Year at Disneyland Paris

Spending Christmas at Disneyland means discovering the parades of mythical Disney characters. Young and old alike will marvel at Disneyland Paris’ incredible Christmas festivities, featuring Santa Claus and characters from The Snow Queen!

Two new shows are also on view in Walt Disney Studios® Park during Christmas at Disneyland Paris: the musical show Fêtons Noël en Chanson! and L’Incroyable Noël de Dingo.

If you’re in Paris for New Year’s Eve, spend the evening of December 31 at Disneyland Paris. A dream New Year’s Eve awaits you, with a superb parade of Halloween magic, Christmas enchantment and sparklers to celebrate the park’s 25th anniversary! And what’s New Year’s Eve without fireworks? You’ll be able to admire them at midnight over Sleeping Beauty’s sumptuous castle, before hitting the dance floor to get 2018 off to a great start!
